Well, the drugs I got for my bronchitis are working amazingly fast. I’m already starting to feel better and the nagging cough I’ve had is finally starting to clear. I’ve got a bit more energy back and I’m looking forward to this weekend.
While I’ve been sitting around the house, wondering if I was ever going to stop hacking and wheezing, I decided to find out what is happening around town in the next few weeks.
The Cleveland Museum of Art has some interesting movies coming up in November that I think I’m going to have to see. Paris 1900 looks really interesting, being a history of Paris between 1900 and 1915. The film makers tried to assemble the film from footage and photographs of the time, so it should be fun to see what Paris looked like 100+ years ago. It’s a shorter film at seventy-six minutes.
In addition to this film, I’m also interested in their screening of the movie about Klimt. That’s far longer, but should also be an interesting view. They’ve also got the big jewelry exhibition, too, but I’m not sure if that really interests me much. If I’m there for a film, maybe I’ll go to the exhibit too…
MOCA has a bunch of stuff coming up, too. I’ll let you go look at their schedule mainly because the range of events is so wide.
John Tejada is coming through town on October 24th. I’m looking forward to that as I haven’t been to enough good shows this year because I’ve been so busy with work and such.
It’s been too many weeks feeling sad, sick or sorry. I need to get out and get moving again. This stuff looks really good…
