Here, with 86 (frog) days left to go in 2008, I got the flu. At the very least, I got a terrible fever. It hit me on Saturday night around 11pm and lasted into Sunday morning. That, accompanied by other entertaining flu symptoms, gave me an entire night to sit, awake, and think about life.
I’m starting to get tired of this “thinking about life”. I do things to live life but can’t seem to find a way to be satisfied. Maybe, no matter what happens, I’m always going to be unhappy.
Having good friends around and a really supportive family is always good. It makes me hope that things will be OK.
I’ll also admit that having spend the last two days at home, feeling like I was being kicked in my abs to the point where I nearly called 911…that is coloring my mood in a not-helpful way at this point.
On another note, I had glass block windows installed today. It seemed totally silly that I was sick on the couch the entire time the guy was smacking the old windows out and placing the new ones into their slots. They look good.
Oh, and I’ve lost five pounds. Go fever! Blah.
